Following the Lines of New York

Following up on the architecture study, here is a new series trying to illustrate how diverse the urban landscapes in New York can be. Much more that I would have expected, anyway. And I was quite fascinated by all the lines your eyes can encounter: vertical lines that your eyes try to follow up the buildings or along the skyline, horizontal lines across the river and so many little urban geometrical details... Spring in New York

Alright, I'm exaggerating a little... It was actually pretty cold when I was in New York and the skies were grey most of the week! Still, the sun made appearances from time to time and I have to admit that it completely changes the face of the city and the feeling that goes with it.  This post also aims to show that everything is not that disproportionately vertical in New York, at least not everywhere. And if you open your eyes, you can even catch glimpses of colours here and there...
